Nice work, I mean I'd rather consider your hosting than the current shitty paid one I have but I don't know for some reason I feel like not doing it for obvious reasons.

SECURITY WARNING
Our security analysts have discovered a vulnerability in our game hosting panel service which allows a user to access other users' scripts. As we take security as our number one priority, we have immediately issued a warning. Since we currently only have one member at the moment, this would not make a difference. We have devised a solution which we'll try to implement as soon as possible. This should not take much time. TS3, web hosting and IRC bouncer services should still be fine. However, we strongly discourage you from uploading sensitive server files until further notice.

Flake

Yeah right. For something so obvious you clearly don't have anyone in your team that knows a tiny bit about security.

If you need safety you need your own vps and some of knowledge how to keep it safe too.

I wonder how else we somehow managed to detect a very dangerous exploit.

When you find a bug in your own software that isn't used by more than 1 guy (meaning there's no other guy to do any harm) you don't go out and brag about it. Because that's equivalent to saying "Don't use our services if you value your safety.".

I know that you're trying to look professional and what not. But you ended up being the opposite of professional. Serious service providers try their best to not let other people know their stuff is vulnerable.

Because where there's a vulnerability there's bound be more. And you just made an open invitation for others to look for them.

Well...
1. We now have more than one guy for some reason
2. It's still better than people having their scripts stolen.

SECURITY ISSUE RESOLVED
You can now freely apply for your own VCMP server hosting without any worries of security because we have fixed our security issues. All server files are now safely isolated from each other, so a server would not be able to access other servers' files. If you discover any issue, security-related or otherwise, feel free to open a support ticket at https://cloudwards.es/.

neva, I'd still like to exploit it, but seeing the scripting skills of VCMP's nerds, I guess a hacker would still tell you about it lol

I'm pleased to inform you that we've released a new hosting location. Now you may choose USA as a hosting location for your gaming servers. We will soon release more hosting locations.

New hosting locations will be available for choice in the VC:MP application which will be frequently updated with new hosting location options. Our France hosting location is the most powerful so we prefer you to choose it, but our other hosting locations will still provide a good standard of gaming.

A message to clients: You may create a support ticket using the "Support" page located in the Navigation bar to request a change of host location.

It's our pleasure to serve you.

I bet the error was file permissions on the server itself, and had nothing to do with the panel.

I dont need to explain more of common sense.

Every free hosting company espacially free gameserver hosting companies pays to keep up their free services. Don't they pay for dedicated or vps? We're like the same way but we're unique that we dont have any requirements to get hosting, nor we limit the services. Short: Count this as charity as flake said.

You don't just "contain" a hack. If you got hacked, its pretty normal to give a status update to what happened and what data was compromised.

Mate, Flake doesn't know the situation as well as me. It was actually my fault that the domain registrar credentials were with my old friend who was with me in my hosting team. He got inactive and I left him and started Cloudwards, but it's my mistake that I forgot to change the domain registrar password. He just has access to the domain and redirected it to give me that message as revenge, our dedicated server is completely secure atm and I'm currently in contact with the registrar to recover again.

Regaining access to something you stupidly gave away access to can take some time.

Mate, they are thinking that that guy is the co owner of that account and are saying to get legal support. They have problems understanding that for him to be a co owner there must be some agreement or contract which there isn't. I will continue pressuring them, but when it will be fixed? I can't say.

Why wouldn't they think he is co owner. He was. He, along with you, had access to the account and so you shared the domain together.

I think instead of asking your provider, it's best to settle it with the guy you gave your domain to.

There is a flaw in their system that allows anyone to change the password of the account once he's logged in without email verification. This is the first domain registrar I've seen that doesn't have this feature. I'll try negotiating with that 'co owner'.

It's linguistically impossible to regret for the inconvenience caused. Instead, we should simply regret the inconvenience caused.
Even afterwards, that's still not the proper way to use 'regret'.

Announcement
We're pleased to inform you that we have upgraded our previous MC-64 server to an SP-128-S server. Not only does it have more RAM, but it also has an Intel Xeon CPU with 4 cores, which makes our next update possible:

After we've setted everything up, you can order OpenVZ VPS servers with 1 GB ram and 20 GB HDD. You'll get shared access to both our 500Mbps network port (with a burst of up to 1Gbps) with unmetered bandwidth (you'll get your own dedicated IP) and our 4 core E5-1620v2 Intel Xeon processor. We'll give 10 of these every month until we give out a total of 100 VPSes (due to the space and RAM we've allocated - we do not oversell), which you can keep for as long as you like.

It's our pleasure to serve you.

So make sure you are restoring your hosts file back to it's Windows default state. After you have restored your original hosts file, restart your computer, just to be sure that everything has been re-loaded.

MAINTENANCE
We're carrying out some maintenance on our France server (178.32.116.43) to adapt it for our new VPS hosting package, which might cause a few hours of downtime starting from April  6. We'll try to keep it to a minimum, and if everything goes smoothly, you wouldn't even notice it. Consequently, all new France server requests will be put on hold until the maintenance is complete. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused.

I just got one TS3 server from you and I'm pretty honest to say that its so annoying that every second day your service just goes to maintenance. I'm yeah right you are doing a free service but atleast don't promise a 99% uptime for now with 99% downtime instead.

Since our France server is the most powerful one, we mostly work on it for infrastructural upgrades. If uptime is very important for you, consider our US server, which doesn't go down nearly as much.
Also, we have noticed that our new kernel (4.4.0.72 generic) is noticeably faster than our previous one (kernel 2), and coupled with free VPS hosting, it is quite worth the downtime.

Our maintenance on our France server (178.32.116.43) is complete. We're almost done with setting up our VPS infrastructure and the only thing that is left is to update our Terms of Service and make a board for applications. We're pleased to inform you that we have released a new VCMP master list. If you want to support us, you can set your master list configuration to ours: http://vcmp.master.cloudwards.es:10732 without any trailing '/'. If you are using the official browser, you can set it by hovering over Tools, clicking Settings, setting your Masterlist URL to the one specified here and clicking OK. You should notice a slight increase in performance because our master list purges all servers which are offline. We also have a separate official servers list which we plan to award unique servers with.

Our master list copies over servers from the official master list, but if the official one is down or for any other reason you want to directly announce to our master list, add this line to your server.cfg file: announce vcmp.master.cloudwards.es:10732.

It's our pleasure to serve you.

Because you're not supposed to be going to it through the browser. Set it in VCMP browser settings.
If you still want to go to it through the browser, use this link: http://vcmp.master.cloudwards.es:10732/servers or http://vcmp.master.cloudwards.es:10732/official
