I make this browser is because I'm a perfectionist. And the official browser is not very perfect. There are something could be improved. Hovever It seems that it's impossible to open source. So I decided to make this. Also It can improve my programming skills.
As a high school student, I only can use computer on weekends(and I have to study in school on Saturday). So it may take a long time to finish this browser.

I just want imitate the official browser use Windws UI. If I want, I could make a more beautiful one in C++. I know some of gdiplus and DirectUI. ;D

Maybe add easy edit vcmp_config.txt in browser? Something like this: Enter the browser -> Settings -> Config and here have columns from vcmp_config.txt

What? You should see the official browser. I truned on the visual styles on the list view. I can give you a screenshot that turns off "common controls 6.0". :(

Currently I just finished UI. So you can't see it in the code. Domain name will be support. The browser will store domain instead of IP address.

I have said about this. "If I want, I could make a more beautiful one in C++." However I just want to use Windows' UI.
Also, because we have to draw the UI ourselves, it's more slower than system's UI(but a user can't see it). And I have to write more code. I said I'm a student and I don't have much time to do this.

You can set "mapname" in the server.cfg. See the screenshot below. There is some server set its map name.

Which Visual Studio do you use? I use VS2015 and no this issue. And I know inet_addr was deprecated but inet_pton only available after Windows Vista.
I used VS2013, it also gives an error that says something like a warning was treated as an error when I used inetaddr

Official browser works fine on the same masterlist
First, I want to say it will shows error message by default(VCMPBrowser.cpp #413). Second, this is reported by libcurl. I don't know what's wrong with it.

Well the exe is only 432KB but there are other big files. I don't know which to remove so I just threw all of them in the zip

This version only include English translation. I will add other languages in the next version.
If you want to launch game, put 04relXXX folders in browser's path.
I tested it.
So far, I would say the base is almost done. :D
There are still few things to be fixed, but as a first preview, it's great !
Waiting to see how it will be more improved than the actual official VC:MP Browser. :)
(filters, shortcut to vcmp_settings.cfg and etc.)

Just noticed a bug while playing around with it.
1. Use your mouse to select LW (Or any other server that has players)
2. Use your arrow key to move to the server below/above it, the playerlist updates to that server
3. Use your mouse to select LW again, the playerlist doesn't update.

I have added Steam VC support. I use a way that doesn't need a proxy dll to load VCMP's dll.

I want to say some about this:
Steam VC have a "pack", which decrypt the program's code on start and then jump to the original entry point (OEP) and then the game start. We can't hooks the game before it decrypted.
But there's a way. We can hook a palce that after decrypt and before game start, and load dll at this place.
@Stormeus I told you this way in this (http://forum.vc-mp.org/?topic=2227) topic. Now I found the program have a code check and bypass it. See the source code.
@ysc3839 That's useful and I thank you for the input. However, I'm probably going to hold off on implementing that ourselves until we have our own official browser refresh, or some other critical issue in the browser forces an update. Distributing browser updates at the moment is difficult since auto-update isn't currently built into it, and I'd rather not push one for something that is essentially a cosmetic fix.
