Title: VCMP Client on linux
Post by: sabin72246 on Oct 04, 2020, 02:33 PM
Vice City base game works flawlessly on Linux. While the VCMP server browser installs too there is no name displayed but I can click on any line and details are shown on the bottom this is fine but the game never starts when I click on connect.
Has anyone able to get the server browser to work or can anything be done by me?

Hmm, the older VCMP Browser from https://github.com/ysc3839/VCMPBrowser can launch the game and some lines are shown while some are hidden (Yo can select the top one and press down and go through all of them to make them visible) and minor graphical glitches. Its usable tho and i am using it until the latest one is fixed.

Back in the day I tried booting it up on Linux but could not get it to work with wine.
