Set the masterlist url to this. Or announce your server to this list.
To be honest, I don't see the point. In order to announce to this custom list, you'll have to recompile the announce plugin.
I just don't see how this can be any helpful?

The latest plugin version supports announcing to up to five lists. The problem is that the browser only supports one at a time.
