Post by: vcmptr on Apr 11, 2015, 01:21 PM

Server browser with admin rights should help.

If anything you should be specifying Windows XP SP3 for compatibility.

Is this still an issue?

Works well with all compatibility modes (tested it myself) as long as you run the browser as admin like Gudio said.

Works fine on Windows 8.1 Pro 64bit without any compatibility setting here.

What's not working? Isn't it starting?

Yes working fine without compatibility mode. I just think VCMP should work with compatibility modes.

Why should we do that if it works without compatibility mode? Compatibility mode is designed for programs that don't run properly on newer versions of Windows.

Won't fix, closed.
