Are you serious right now? IRC has (probably) been around for longer than you are old and for good reason - it's simple, fast and not owned by a single corporation that may or may not be collecting your data for any and all purposes. Discord has its uses but to say that someone should give up IRC because it's old is just ignorant.

Bad title - too unspecific and somewhat misleading.

Bad "problem" - FastDownload in Counter-Strike off-loaded file serving to a HTTP server which oftentimes were faster. That much is true.
But is downloading in VCMP really that slow that placing file downloads elsewhere is worth the hassle? I'd argue it's not. Local downloads (and downloads from fast servers) is close to instantaneous in my experience.

Are you sure that OP actually solved his problem? Is it better to open a new thread when encountering the same exact problem than asking if a solution was found in an old one?

It is probably related to the shape of your radio stream and/or how you call the CreateRadio function (argument order?).

I can't solve your problem but I can help you provide more relevant info in order for someone else to have a simpler time solving the issue;
1. What version of blender? 2.78?
2. What plugin are you using to load a .dff? ("io_scene_dff.py"?) What version?

How to see call stack

Depends on your servers operating system but in general it entails you running a debugger, opening the vcmp server through the debugger and when an error is encountered commanding the debugger to output a callstack/backtrace.

Well, have you opened 8192 in your router and/or firewall?
VCMP doesn't support uPNP as far as I can tell - and in my opinion it shouldn't.

Maybe the IP address you using is banned. Unfortunately It seems that I can't unban that IP. So wait @Stormeus or try using proxy.

According to flake, this happened because I used mobile data. Someone shared hacks on the forum using mobile data and I also accessed from using mobile data. Due to the old one banned, my account was also IP banned + my device banned (MAC address).

You can't be banned as a result of your MAC address on an Internet site.

"Remember me" only stores a cookie on your current device (your cellphone in this case), it has nothing with MAC addresses to do.

VCMP has built-in functions for plugin communication. However the squirrel plugin doesn't implement such function.
So available options are:

• Modify squirrel plugin to implement this function.
• Make another plugin as squirrel extension to implement this function.
• Use another communication mechanism. For example: network.

I think the last one is easiest. There's a socket plugin for squirrel.

How would I send information from the Squirrel script to the Python script, with the usage of sockets? I have never messed with Unix sockets before. Is there a socket library for Python?
