Title: Does VCMP use cuda cores?
Post by: KakaroT on May 10, 2016, 12:29 PM
As title says, "Does VCMP use cuda cores?" or could devs make it happen?

1. I'm not sure what we would need to compute in parallel with CUDA.
2. We have people wanting to play who don't even have SSE2 processors or an OS better than Windows XP. Adding CUDA support would benefit maybe three people.

But I have an AMD GPU, what about OpenCL!

OpemGL is a series of APIs like DirectX. Vice city's engine uses DirectX. It's no need to use OpenGL. It's better to use DirectX in Windows because MS have more optimizations on DirectX.

OpenCL is the AMD variation of Nvidea's CUDA, that's why I said it :P

Anyways, this gets a lock. It has no purpose within VC:MP or anything related to it.
