Why do you like NodeJS so much? NodeJS is suitable for high performance web services, but PHP is way easier to learn for people new to web development and it's very easy to create a simple stats page once you know a bit of PHP.
The only purpose of NodeJS within VC:MP I can see is a webservice for a livemap.
