This happens everytime I press f8

Please do what the error message asks and use the /showdebug 1 command for more details.

Nothing new happens, just a message that says ' not supported on 16-bit' mode.

Go to Options > Video and choose a resolution with 32-bit mode. should be like 1024x768 32 and not 1024x768 16.
