The VC:MP launcher always bring up this error 740 thing each time I join a server, this is my first time on VC:MP. I should also point out that i have a cracked version of VC.
can you give us a screenshot? And would you try uninstalling and installing the client from the setup uploaded here:- http://forum.vc-mp.org/?topic=2638.0 ?

in the bugs section, there's a question called "Are you using Steam VC?" Most of the answers are no, now you know it.
I'm sure if they figure out you use a cracked version but dont mention it anywhere here, they will help you, they just want to avoid legal shits

There are other legal ways to obtain VC. For example, buying a disk.
