Title: Does the internet use American or Commonwealth English?

Someone challenged me on youtube (I'm taking American English)
Do not use which one you prefer be honest and tell what the Internet on average uses.

I am used to British English, but most auto-spell checks convert stuff to American so the end result is mostly American.

Correct, but you still have the option for British auto-spell.

Correct, but you still have the option for British auto-spell.
American English is the default which means it is the standard...
