Title: false positive or real viruses ?
Post by: Sebastian on Nov 12, 2016, 01:07 PM
When I uploaded the archive with the new Blank Server of VC:MP, mediafire found it as dangerous/virused.
Then I tried to upload it on Thijn's uploader, and got a result: 30/56 antiviruses declared it as virused.

But my antivirus did find no problem with the archive. (avast)
Then I installed some anti malware suggested by PerikiyoXD, but there was no problem...
I tried also Bitdefender, and couldn't find any problem with the archive.

What am I supposed to believe ? my laptop is fully virused ?
(damn, no idea how many years passed since my laptop was virused, last time)

Try to upload it to virustotal and tell us the results to verify if the antiviruses are authentic.

It gives the same result as Thijn's one.

PS: There is no sign of viruses in my laptop ...

No, I mean the report. It would tell us which antiviruses flagged it as a virus.

Then don't upload your server with executables. They can be found on vcmp wiki

Actually, just found out the problem: sqlite plugin
It is the only one who gives the bad results...

I remember the squirrel plugin gave a problem like that to me.
And anyways, why not use SLC's SQLite plugin though? If you want it behave like the original ones, you just need to add some variables to the top of your script.

No need for that anymore. I've updated the plugin (https://github.com/iSLC/VCMP-SQLite/releases) to fully replace the official one without any workarounds.

And we also agreed to use it in the Blank Server.
So I will upload the updated archive soon. :)
