After downloading simple VC and installing vcmp server. I am unable to start it.
when I click on connect, nothing happens. I configured settings but still the same result.
Simple VC is working fine.

Let me guess: no error message? What about checking the path and running VCMP as admin?
this is an info that the VC:MP team REALLY NEED to put on the download page.

and since your singleplayer vc is working, i can confirm that your solution is to try downgrading your gta vice city game version to 1.0. I had the same problem before and as far i'm concerned, i did the downgrade method and it did work for me.
