WTVC UPDATE: VICERICE RADIO + DOWNLOAD NOTE

We've shipped a new update that adds ViceRice Radio to the server and tightens up the audio experience.

- Your personal ViceRice Radio now auto-starts when you join.
- New radio commands:
  - /stopradio – Stops your personal radio after the current song and starts a 5-minute cooldown.
  - /restartradio – Restarts your personal radio, but only after the 5-minute cooldown has finished.
  - /switchradio – Reserved for future station switching (coming soon).

IF YOU DON'T HEAR THE RADIO WHEN YOU SPAWN

  • Reconnect once to sync the audio.
  - In-game hints will also remind you to reconnect if radio isn't playing correctly.

VICE RICE RADIO UPDATE: PLAYER-CONTROLLED TRACKS

We've tweaked ViceRice Radio so tracks only play when you choose, to prevent abuse and unwanted songs.


- New manual commands:
  - /playtrack1
  - /playtrack2
  - /playtrack3
  - /playtrack4

- Only one track at a time per player.
- No more random auto-playing music in the background.

METAL VICE EVENT – ATTACK KEYS (1–4)
During the Twisted Metal Vice event, you get special attacks bound to the number keys:


- 1 key – Rocket 1: Fires a rocket straight ahead of your car. 
- 2 key – Rocket 2: Fires a side/angled rocket from your car. 
- 3 key – Rocket 3: Long‑range rocket shot straight ahead. 
- 4 key – Ultimate blast: Multiple explosions in a circle around you. 


Notes: 

- These keys only work during Metal Vice. 
- You must be inside your Metal Vice car. 
- Rockets and the ultimate share a cooldown, so time your shots.

METAL VICE – JUMP & REPAIR

J KEY — JUMPCMD 

- J key calls /jumpcmd. 
- Launches your car straight up into the air. 
- Requires Explore Pass (or event permission) to use outside certain cases.


REPAIR PADS ON THE BRIDGE 

- Look for the green wrench pickups on the Metal Vice bridge. 
- Drive over them to fully repair your Metal Vice car. 
- Each player has a 5 second personal cooldown per repair pad. 


All of this is listed under METAL VICE EVENT CONTROLS inside /myphone.

HYDRA BOMB – B KEY & /DROPTHEBOMB

When you're flying the Hydra (model 6401), you can run an airstrike.

KEYBIND: 

- B key – If you are piloting a Hydra 6401, pressing B will trigger /dropthebomb for you. 


COMMAND: 

- /dropthebomb – Command version of the same attack. 
  - Use this if your keybinds are changed or B doesn't work for you. 
  - You must be in a Hydra (6401) or it will refuse.


Extra details: 

- When you enter a Hydra, you will see a big on-screen Announce: 
  "Hydra Bomb: Press B or use /dropthebomb". 
- /dropthebomb starts a nuke-style bombing run across the city. 
- The bomber is protected so they don't instantly die in their own fire.


You can find this in /myphone under the CONFLICT & OUTFITS section: 
"/dropthebomb – In Hydra (6401), press B or use /dropthebomb to release the payload"

🚍 BUS SIMULATOR — NEW BUSDRIVER JOB
• Multi-stop city route: Added a full Busdriver job that sends you across Vice City hitting multiple passenger stops.
• New way to earn cash: Each successful stop pays out cash + XP, turning clean driving into a real paycheck.
• Immersive flow: Drive into the marked bus stop, hold for the pickup timer, then move on to the next waypoint.

Commands:
- /busdriver — Rent a city bus and start the passenger route.
- /quitbus — End your shift and return the bus.

🧨 TWISTED METAL VICE — ANTI-ABUSE TUNING
• 3s jump cooldown: Added a 3 second cooldown to /jumpcmd and the J key during Twisted Vice.
• Goal: Stop players from spamming the "needle" jump exploit, while still letting you use it for tactical movement.
• Result: Jump remains powerful, but you now have to time your launches instead of mashing.

📢 New Opt-In Event System

Events no longer force you in! We've completely redesigned the auto-event system to respect your gameplay.

How It Works:

• When an event is announced, you have 30 seconds to decide
  
• Press E or type /joinevent to opt-in
  
• If you don't press anything, you simply won't be teleported
• Only players who want to participate will join

This means you can keep grinding, exploring, or doing your own thing without being interrupted. Events are now 100% optional!

Just in time for the holidays, Evil Santa has arrived in Vice City!

• A massive boss with 2000 HP spawns at the bank
  
• All participating players must work together to take him down

• With turf spawn off, you use the improved default spawn system (rotating city spawns) instead

If you like owning turf but don't always want to spawn there, you now have a toggle that actually behaves.

- Law classes (cop / lawyer / fbi / informant) can now take street patrol jobs around rough neighbourhoods. 
- Use the new patrol commands to start structured routes through high‑risk areas and keep crime down. 
- Each route sends you through big P checkpoints on the map; hold position at each stop for a short time to "secure" it and move on. 
- Completing a full route pays out extra cash and reinforces the "law vs crime" feel instead of just random roaming.

We've tightened up the keybind system so you can play the full script from your keyboard without typing every command.

Gun / Class Keybinds: 
- 1 – 4 keys: Dual‑use combat keys. 
  • During Metal events: fire the three rocket patterns + ultimate strike. 
  • Outside Metal: trigger your main class / weapon presets for instant fighting loadouts. 
- 5 – 8 keys: Extra quick‑weapon slots for heavy gear and speciality weapons so you don't have to open any menus mid‑fight. 
- Q key: Instant random weapon swap – a chaos button that lets you flip your weapon on the fly and keep fights unpredictable.

Vehicle, Movement & Utility Keybinds: 
- Y key: Vehicle mode switch on supported cars/helis – smoother transitions for special vehicles. 
- J key: Jump‑command shortcut for special movement bursts where it's allowed. 
- Z key: One‑tap /flip – immediately roll your vehicle back onto its wheels. 
- /flip chat command is still available for players who prefer typing.

- /buyhotdog: On‑street healing when you're near a hotdog stand. 
- / key (slash): Direct keybind to /buyhotdog so you can heal quickly without stopping to type.

Phone, Style & Event Keybinds: 
- P key: Opens your in‑game phone (/myphone) so you can reach help, travel, jobs and class info right away. 
- I key: Toggles rainbow car mode for style runs and car meets. 
- L key: Quick access to the core /nos boost system for high‑risk high‑reward driving. 
- H key: Secondary NOS behaviour (/nos2) to mix up your boost patterns. 
- E key: Instant YES vote for events – no need to type when the server asks if you want to join.

Law Enforcement Keybinds: 
- V key: For law roles, attempts a fast arrest on the closest suspect within a short range. 
- M key: For law roles, triggers a nearby take‑in to drag suspects towards jail when conditions are met. 
- These sit on top of the existing /takein and /arrest commands so you can still type them if you prefer.

➤ Zombie Behaviour Tweaks 
- World War Zombie shamblers got a small speed adjustment – they track players a bit better without becoming sprint monsters. 
- The change is subtle: you can still dodge and kite them, but ignoring a pack for too long is now more dangerous. 
- The goal is to make zombie encounters feel more alive without turning them into instant death rockets.

SERVER UPDATE – CUSTOM CONTENT CLEANUP

I've decided to remove almost all custom skins to keep the server in-theme and to improve download times and loading speed for everyone.

The only custom skins staying are a very small few that fit server events (such as Zombies or Hulk).

Sorry if you lost anything during this cleanup. I've also removed all custom cars, and we're starting clean so we don't end up with broken lists, missing files, or bugged vehicle/skin setups.
