Of course it does. When have I ever relied on the scripter to do that? Scripters (even me) make mistakes, overlook things, copy/paste from place to place and that makes it easy to leak things. Everything is released automatically, and if anyone insists on using something that was released, they usually get some descriptive error message. That's why Tags were introduced. To help even further with those kind of errors.
