Title: Can someone do something about the code formatting in the posts?
Post by: . on Oct 29, 2014, 12:49 PM
Every time you post some code in a post, the forum removes any previous formatting (tabs and such) and leaves the code in an ugly state where it's hard to read for someone who copies it from the post and doesn't have the original format.

If this is not something related to settings then please ignore this thread until the script authors decide to add such feature.

EDIT:

Also the attachments aren't working. Something about not having the right permissions to access the upload directory.

EDIT:

Since this forum will host a lot of code/scripts I believe it's a good idea to have a script similar to PasteBin that guarantees a permanent lifetime and/or the possibility to maintain/update snippets and other code related to VC:MP scripting.

Would take some load of the forum script and would give a better syntax highlighting. A PasteBin clone can be found here (https://bitbucket.org/j-samuel/paste) (demo (https://www.softaculous.com/demos/PASTE)).

Doesn't Pastebin allow pastes that don't expire?

Will check out the code formatting issues.
