I'm new to VC:MP, yesterday I downloaded a free cam mod and coud not play the multiplayer, there's a way to play with mods on the Steam (singleplayer) version and play only the multiplayer with a clean version? please help

VC:MP is not allowing mods. I wish Free Cam was implemented though.
Still, hoping for the future ;p

You can try that by launching VCMP as a ASI.

What is "ASI"?

If you want to have mods when playing singleplayer, no problem with that, but for multiplayer,  like you said, you need clean version.

In this case, you can just make a copy of your clean Vice City, and set the path to it in the VC:MP Browser -> Tools -> Settings -> GTA:VC Directory
So you have 2 vice city, one modded for you, one clean for multiplayer. :P

To answer your question:
QuoteASI's are C++ DLL's renamed to ASI so they can be recognized by the ASI loader.
