Read this, I'm sure it can help you https://www.gtamodding.com/wiki/SFX
characteristics of the audio formats are mentioned there.

Quote from: MEGAMIND on Aug 20, 2017, 11:45 AMTo join server these names are used  Tommy  Sonny Ken Lance    "Avery", "Mike", "Mitch", "Willy" "Percy", "Hilary",
"Candy",  "Mercedes", "Auntie", "Phil",  "Cortez", "Diaz","Kentpaul", "Umberto","Dick","Leo"
I took "Avery" and thus all the nicknames have been taken except "Dick". Who will be the next to take Dick?

Nevermind I forgot GUI are client scripts, in my suggestion I used server scripts, thus I edited it out to avoid misleading.

General Discussion / Re: VCMP status
Jul 05, 2017, 08:23 PM
Well VC:MP probably never had 50+ players on a daily basis to begin with, so you can't call it dead if it never lived to that standard. While if you compare it to SA-MP then of course you deem it "dead". Also currently player slots are limited to 100 max, so having 50 players is actually an half full server, and when you have 30 players already do you have a clue how overpopulated map is, and how rapid the chat scrolls? From my own experience 200 players in a SA-MP server equal 30-40 players in a VC:MP server or 15-20 players in a LU one(rip).

If you're talking about increasing boundaries, then no you can't, that ain't a bug.
#24
Maybe it should be moved to "VC:MP General" board.

Quote from: Zeyad Ahmed on Jun 23, 2017, 08:20 AMWell add the audio file and rename it s<id>_<name> as that id must be more than or = 50000 , but dont make 2 files with the same ID
as example
s50000_headshot.wav
and then you can use it in Sound Functions
and a  example for playing a sound at a certain position
PlaySound( 1, 50000, Player.pos);you can see another functions from here
There is no member CPlayer::pos or SqPlayer::pos.
You could have been more explicit, I'm sure he won't understand what you are trying to tell him.

@Zeyad it's not "pos" but "Pos" all the functions in VC:MP are capitalised.

Therefore:
PlaySound( 1, 50000, player.Pos);

I'd like to know why, in years of playing VC:MP the radios are ALWAYS, and I mean it, playing the same bit. in K-Chat Gethsemanee or Mr.Zoo, in VCPR Alex Shrub and Pastor Richards, in Emotion there almost always Kate Bush, Wave 103: Keep feelin' fascination, Radio Espantoso: Mambo mucho mambo. Flash FM: Laura Branigan, etc. I could go on for every radio.

I literally never get to hear some songs like Love my way on Wave 103 or Missing you on Emotion 98.3

So at this point so much time has gone by that I can't really think it's just paranoia anymore. My question is how do radios work in VC:MP? is there a randomiser or something? Also what's different from singleplayer considering radios there are a lot varied.

If the reason this topic was created is just to counteract Greenless mod, then I think devs can surely find better solutions. LU has a check on some game files, that while being theoretically bypassable, nobody did that. If there was a similar check on gta3.img, every modded model or texture would be kept at bay.

I was thinking about private conversations or PMs but actually there are a lot of servers returning your password in plain text and IP after logging in, why on earth would you be forced to post such stuff in a public forum.

Considering server owners already have access to such stuff and they should know what not to do with it.

What the fuck? What else after this? I strongly disagree, it's a serious violation of player's privacy.

I shot you a PM months ago when you had asked for testers and never got a reply.
