I can't join a server on Windows 8.1

I have windows 8.1 Enterprise x64. I can play without problems the gta vc but in the multiplayer when I'm trying to join, client says: could not start process. I had to download the msvcr120 and msvcp120 for the two versions (x64 and x32) and problem still exist. Someone can help me?

You don't have to download the dlls manually. You need to install the whole packet using the redistributable installation.

If that fails then try running the browser as an admin. And if that fails too then try setting the gta_vc.exe in compatibility with Windows 98 / Windows Me as a last resort method.
