Listing help

Hey, Folks! Well the thing is that i want to make a list which appears in the screen, and then we need to select the options for example :-
FarisDon->Pickup 408 -> appears a list( by space we can select it, and by esc we can close it)
so i just want to take a idea, advise from you guys that how to make a list with 2-3 options, and then select it ?
Basically i don't want code, but just advise, or idea since i never did this.
