The latest versions of Squirrel are available on the official website (for a couple days now). The Squirrel module probably deserves an upgrade from the beta version.

Squirrel 3.1 RC1 will be merged into the Squirrel plugin soon. A rewrite of the Squirrel module might also be in order on account of how amazingly scattered the code is, and should be made more maintainable.
