I don't know what has happend as I was able to play completely fine yesterday but now whenever I try joining a server the loading bar keeps loading halfway through, resets itself and then starts reloading again. This keeps going on untill VC decides to crash by itself.
Some help to fix this is appreciated.

Stormeus

Try running eventvwr.msc and looking for an error from vcmp-game.dll or gta-vc.exe. Post the error here if you can find it.

try delete the contents of your prefetch folder, restart the machine and run vcmp again.

Brian

Now I'm getting this after doing the steps Storm and you told me.

Brian

Can someone help me, my game still crashes when the loading bar reaches 50%.

Mashreq

Have you tired reinstalling your GTAVC?
Try running the vcmp browser as a administrator.

Brian

My game is not the problem, as I have said already I was able to run 0.4 completely fine the other day. 0.3 and SP work fine, it's only 0.4 that's screwing me over.

Maddy

Stormeus gave me another VCMP 0.4 Browser, which waits for infinite time till VCMP starts, I've not been facing this problem since then.

Maddy

And yes, you need to replace the Browser which I have given, with the other browser in which you got the error.

Brian

Doesn't work as my game still crashes halfway through, infact I'm having this again:

Let me get this straight to you, Brian, (IDK IF YOU HAVE DONE THIS B4, I'M JUST SHARING WHAT I KNOW)

So, first of all, Go to the past where 0.4 was not released yet,
After it did get released, you installed it here C:/Programs/blah/blah/blah where it worked perfectly fine, When you want to launch VCMP, you first launch the browser, Now you get this Injected thread is hung, and Game loads only half and crashes, So delete the browser which you had installed earlier, and replace it with the browser which I gave. Hope it worked.

Try doing these things again.

Brian

I'm not stupid if you think that, like I said it didn't work.

Brian

I stumbeld open a map with crashlogs that was way off any files that had to do with vcmp. Storm maybe you can figure out whats wrong by reading it.
