Playing with the japanese version

I'm using the steam version of GTA VC, but I updated to japanese version because I'm learning to speedrun this game, can I play somehow the multiplayer without uninstalling the japanese version?

Well.. did you try to play VCMP 0.4? Does it work? The .exe must be a 1.0 version. Remove testapp.exe from your Steam directory.
