It's quite an outdated and ineffective (most of the times) solution to be fair, that consumes / demands more from the GPU rather than it should do from the monitor natively, leave alone the shitty input lag and other possible downs being caused from it.

The devs should have implemented this a long time ago already. I know people that have 144+hz monitors (and actual good PCs) and they can't get the full potential from the game without having to rely on different workarounds or ways that are considered "explicit" on the actual servers.

Thus it's not our fault the majority (to not say it here offensively) can't get a proper PC if you'd ask, but it should be let freely as an option / support for anyone who would consider buying proper devices someday that still play this game / client.
Would be interesting to see this implemented to Windows RT (which runs on ARM32), considering I have one. :)

Everytime I change the tag_quality value, the tag rendering is bugged (renders the nickname either bigger or smaller than normal, and no I didn't change any other value but this one)

Seems like everytime I set it in-game (via /setconfig), HOWEVER when I minimize and return back ingame (Alt+Tab) / restart the game, it renders normal, until I change it again.

I think I clearly mentioned above...

What you think caused the bug
Something from the April / May 2019 Update, as since then most of such settings used to be bugged (are surely there are still, but I'm uncertain of which for now, but if I'll do, I'll come back again).

To add more, I used a fresh "vcmp_config.txt" (by deleting / renaming old one) to not tell as it could've been edited or any bullshit that could cause from it (which doesn't anyways).

However it isn't really a big issue anymore. But as an alternative / temporary fix, I think you could make it to apply / take effect once you restart the game (something like game_antialias setting).

I highly bet Argonath IV:MP will be more dead than it is considering the fact of V:MP's one appearance

However don't let this down, there are still chances to make this client alive as much as possible, such as the LU-DM polacks in the post above could be a good chance to make it rise again, or developing more servers for the client to make the process faster thought

Actually it is rather than dependant upon your internet speed and the contact with the server (in this case, its host). For example, as I live in Romania, the internet speed is top there, it takes me to download server files over 100 or so in less than 2/1 mins. But if that's not the case, then it could be prolly any download speed limitation in the VC:MP client or the server's host.

Greetings everyone..

I came with an idea of using key binds as a direct shortcut to any command you type. I think this exists already in MTA if I'm not mistaken. However, it would be cool using any key to execute the command you put in. A great example is /setconfig game_sensitivity or so. Let's say for example you bind the key for using a high value of the mouse sensitivity and near it using a wised low value. This is a great alternative as not everyone got such new gaming mouses coming with many buttons or so that can be done in their separate control panels. But not only that, another great example is for tag_maxdist as when you're sniping and you cannot see the tags from a far distance. Using any keybind to extend the tag's maximum distance for seeing let's say 300 as that's the maximum distance actually VC:MP supports would be cool when you're sniping or so as if there are many players fighting in that area you're sniping in. And I highly doubt there are keybinding softwares that can be used but a bit complicated for beginners and overall I don't know if that's allowed in VC:MP actually.. Well, I guess I gave enough examples in which situations the keybinds can be used or so. I wanna know if there's anything that can't be done or what can prevent from implementing this feature in the client.

I don't think it is even F1 or WS so, lol. Might be from lag caused too? As I said so, I only have this issue with shotgun.. SPAZ and Stubby works fine to finish the knocked down opponent.
