Description
Player immunity flag 64, designed to protect the player against headshots, does not work.

Reproducible
Always

What you were doing when the bug happened
FindPlayer(0).Immunity = 64 -> fired an M4 at 0's head and he died to a headshot.

What do you think caused the bug
Improperly implemented flag. The other ones work fine.

well what he meant was for them to work without crashing.
I know Gudio achieved this on his XRR server though I have never asked him how, but most likely by a .dll module.

e: although personally I believe there are much more pressing issues to press than voodoo hydraulics. besides, after the release of 0.4.7 the devs DEFINIETLY deserve a bit of a holiday don't you think? :D

With the recent crackdown and fiasco regarding sensitivity changing, Y axis changing and so on, this decision seemed as very intended to me. Apologies.

I fail to see what all of this has with respect though. I saw the decision as senseless policy-making rather than a bug hence my rough reaction - had it been the first, I would not apologize for fighting against decisions I see as wrong: however since it's a bug, I've apologized.

I have a lot of respect for the development team which I believe is proven by my defending of the lack of updates in the past in servers, shoutboxes and all over VCMP.

As for paying.. I will this July, August and so on, and have always done so.. [respect]

Why can I not change game_sensitivity multiple times without restarting the game?

Do you not understand that by restricting changes to game_sensitivity you are only harming legal players?

Since I'm unable to change my sensitivity the way it was intended for 3+ years in VCMP 0.4 (by ways of commands made by the developers) I will resort to gray area methods such as third party programs to achieve this now such as tens of other players will, or have already done so by now.

So congratulations, you've achieved nothing with this except for practically fucking over newbies who have no clue how to circumvent this "solution" and legit players.

Well.. did you try to play VCMP 0.4? Does it work? The .exe must be a 1.0 version. Remove testapp.exe from your Steam directory.

Of course, wrong. So there are, in fact, more than 2 roleplay servers but all of them are dead / empty when comparing them to VCMP DM standards or SAMP RP standards.

Unless, of course, you enjoy roleplaying with 1 other person.

Cops n Robbers servers are not roleplay, mind you.

There are no servers with 50+ players regularly online, there are no active roleplay servers. There are 2 roleplay servers but all of them are empty.

The server with the highest playercount is littlewhiteys, the second highest is VKs server.

Forcing driver's radio station for all players in a car the first place is a horrible decision and perhaps only useful for roleplaying servers.

Syncing songs? If yes, then server-wide. So everyone hears the same song when they switch to X radio station.

My theory is that the radio is quite probably tied to SCM (game progression?) in singleplayer.

So the radio is acting as if you were before the first mission or after the end of the game, in which case it will always start at some predefined spots.

Although I'm probably wrong.

I see no reason for people to disagree with this suggestion. In what way does it harm you? How could it affect server performance? Stability? In no way, I assume.

DMer apes who make up 99% of VCMP's playercount. I don't see how that helps when we let normal players suffer and let 'DMer apes' enjoy an ugly Vice City.. who lose nothing by doing so.

People who are not active in DM "competitive" (if you can call it that way) scene at all will most likely not understand the reasons for the suggestion.

We want a fair game, not a competition based on who has better mods or not. And this suggestion won't harm anyone.

And if you honestly think that servers will actually abuse this function then jeez.. go see a shrink. If any server would then it would instantly enjoy a 0/100 playercount and players would go to the rival server.

Will this get 'bypassed'? For greenless? I doubt. Because the thing responsible for it is generic.txd which I don't think can be magically replaced while being ingame. But perhaps I'm wrong.

Wallhacks? Sure, it can be bypassable. But until it's bypassable I believe that the developers will work out a more permanent resolution. And if not, then a longer-lasting one.

This is easy to implement and won't harm anyone.
