I would like to seek help on other methods I could use to encrypt passwords. As Passwords encrypted In LU return wrong passwords in VCMP MD5, WHIRLPOOL etc, I would like to know of other methods, I have not tested all of the hashing methods "YET", But plan to.

Could I get an example of say maybe salting a password? Something..

Again? Ever heard of Google?

You see. I have a problem with patterns. You do something once. Meh, I might ignore it. You do something twice. Meh, I might ignore that too. But if you keep doing the same thing. Well... that ain't gonna fly.

These are incorrect and is not what I was looking for.

Yes they are. You just misunderstood what I was trying to point out.

You seem to have zero knowledge about hashing and what that even means. Other than the fact that it "protects" passwords. So I was simply trying to point out that you should do a bit of research on your own because to be honest... I really don't know what dafuq am I supposed to tell you other than what everyone else did already or what google could with just just a few button presses.

All these topics end up in nonsense because you have no idea what you're asking and people have no idea what to reply. So they reply with nonsense as well. Which make these topics pointless when all of this could simply be solved by doing a bit of self research.

VC:MP did not invent hashing. VC:MP simply used some already existing algorithms and exposed them as a script function for you to use them. Therefore, the majority of the information about hashing is out there on the internet and not on VC:MP.

If anyone here were to say anything about hashing. They'd merely say the same thing that can be found on the internet. Replicating information in a pointless discussion. Absolutely pointless.

Why can't anyone here RTFM at least once before trying something? Just why?

Just how hard is it to open up google and start typing whatever comes to your mind:

Just to get an idea before you even think about asking something. What you asked is not even a question. I refuse to consider that a question when all the answers in the world are literally in your face and you're not even looking at them.

You claim that you're from US. Therefore, English should not be an issue to you.

Now I'm waiting for you to come with a tl;dr post with even more nonsense than what we have already. Tic tac, tic tac, tic tac...

Fixed. Weird bug withing VCMP to LU hashing methods.

Of course VCMP did not create hashing methods I am not that dumb,

That would be as dumb as someone not knowing "UID's are encrypted Hard drive IDS", When the Hard drive IDS are somewhere around 5 to 6 characters.

I've read similar documentation else where for hashing methods, but I will refresh my mind sometime, Thanks for those links.
