CLAN INFORMATION

The Sherlockian Lepidopterans, or on its acronym, the Sherlockians family, is a deathmatch VC:MP clan with two hierarchies: The Sherlockians, and the Lepidopterans. The clan was forged by Calhoun, an argentinian 17 years-old boy, under the name and tag [RB] -Red Barons- on first instance, based on the German Army Pilot Manfred von Richthofen, who was known for being, probably, the most great war pilot of the First World War.

However, inspired by diverse people, Calhoun realized that Manfred's ideals and ethos weren't the same as Calhoun wanted for the clan. Inspired by anti-racist, anti-sexist and anti-homophobia social movements, as well as an attempt of having loyal, humble and noble players in our rows in a future, the Sherlockians' founder decided that the tag going to represent this family was going to be changed, and it ended being SL: Sherlockian Lepidopterans; as a meaning of butterflies (avoiding the macho-man, classic "killer", "pwner" or "destroyer" culture), but that are as intelligent and observers as the classical detective Holmes is.

We are looking for decent, intelligent and nice players to build together a new community to make VC:MP, the game we all here love, stay alive - and to make it a place where competitivism exists and we can skip off a monotonous circle. We encourage players to join our squad and become the new true revelation of VC:MP. The real 2020 project for a new great squad into the game.

Currently, we are recruiting players who speak Spanish only.


The Sherlockian Lepidopterans, o en su acrónimo, the Sherlockians family, es un clan de VC:MP de deathmatch con dos jerarquías: The Sherlockians, y los Lepidopterans. El clan fue fundado por Calhoun, un argentino de 17 años de edad, bajo el nombre y el tag de [RB] -Red Barons- en primera instancia, basado en el piloto alemán Manfred von Richthofen, quien fuese conocido como el piloto más importante de la Primera Guerra Mundial, derribando a más de 80 aviones enemigos.

Sin embargo, inspirado por diversas personas, Calhoun se dió cuenta de que los ideales de Manfred, como su espiritu, no eran los mismos que quería para las personas dentro de su clan. Animado por una ideología antisexista, antiracista y antihomofóbica y sus movimientos sociales, como así también en un intento de reclutar gente amable, inteligente y con ideales de justicia en un futuro, el fundador de los Sherlockianos decidió cambiar el tag y el nombre que los representa. Ahora pasaría a ser: SL - Sherlockian Lepidopterans. Significa en español "mariposas", esquivando el estereotipo de clan "macho-man, asesino, pwner, destructor" implantado en VCMP. Y la otra parte del nombre, es porque se busca ser tan hábiles, observadores y letales como Sherlock, el famoso detective Holmes. 

Estamos buscando jugadores decentes, inteligentes y amables para construir juntos una nueva comunidad que haga a VCMP permanecer de pie y obviar la monotonía de clanes que le caracteriza. El verdadero proyecto por un clan en 2020 que sea competitivo y duro para los demás. Ser la revolución.
