EYE III

As the server is brought back, we decided to organize the third sequel of End of Year event. EYE is all about good old bashing 1 on 1 on our server. The players who decide to play will have to apply which can be done in this topic here. Maximum number of participants which can take part in this event is 32, if it is noticed that there are players which want to play but there is no place we might consider including more extra spots. The event will be done according to the knock-out elimination system which means if you lose you're out. Players have time to apply till 14th January 15:00 GMT +1.  If there are any questions regarding the event, you can ask here.

Any idea when will this get fixed?

Description: It bugs the game when we use it after losing connection to the server. After several non-established reconnects (failing to reconnect 2-3 times via "Reconnect") I often get in the position (after established connection (usually the 4th try) where the radio stations get bugged. I can't listen to the radio neither I can switch the stations unless I re-log. I am not sure is it my copy of GTA:VC or is it VCMP client side.

Reproducible:

Happened to me numerous times so yeah, I guess so.

What you were doing when the bug happened: Timing out and using the reconnect button.

What you think caused the bug:

I am not sure, up to the devs to figure this one out.

Looks like XP versions aren't compatible with the server somehow. It keeps re-downloading 26 files upon connecting each time although they got downloaded upon the very first server join. The crash code that occurs is 1012C568. I (along with other players who got the same issues) aren't able to sweep through the skin list nor can we spawn. Please fix this as soon as possible. Cheers.

This will change your game stream memory to 512. Can be done in other ways by going in your %appdata% folder and finding the vcmp_config.txt file and changing the value to 512. I'm not guaranteeing this will solve anything but it is worth a shot.

Try this upon joining a server

/setconfig game_streammem 512

There is no sound untill you suicide, get killed or die by other ways.
