VCMP 0.4 Install error

Hello,
I recently installed vice city multiplayer client 0.4 from this link link . After i open it gives an installation error.

It also says GIF89a Failed to download update to version

please tell how to fix this problem

P.S
I have windows 7 os 32 bit
I tried running Vcmp as administrator

Try Changing the updater URL to http://u04.maxorator.com
Tools -> Settings -> Updater Url = http://u04.maxorator.com

The updater url is the same as you posted. The error still pops up

His net is too slow to download. It happened to me with the old browser while downloading Black Ops 2 using uTorrent

That shouldn't error out though, it should just take longer :x

How the hell did you manage to download the client in the first place then?

try setting updater to http://u04.thijn.com/

Rather then wasting his time just copy the update files zip it and upload it on thik in uploaded and tell him instructions where to paste that will be more easy I am on mobile otherwise I would have given files

How the hell would he get the latest update if we give him the files?? VCMP Would keep updating but he would be on one version

My internet is not slow , nor was i downloading anything in the background

I uninstalled the previous vcmp and installed the new updated version ,Still the error occurs

It's http://u04.thijn.ovh . Does not explain why you get served a GIF file when connection to u04.maxorator.com though. Perhaps something is intercepting the connection to there, since that server doesn't contain any GIF files.
