Password protect irc channel

How to protect the channel with password (i just want to protect channel not to make it private i mean without password players r able to connect bot to my channel )
Searched on google but didnt found anything

Having a password only for bots (if that's what you mean) is not possible.

By using this only those players will be able to access channel who know the pass it is similar to private channel case.

Or you could set your channel moderated (+m) and only voice (+v) people you want to be able to talk.
