Always

What you were doing at the time of the crash
Nothing just trying to join a server but it always goes black screen like it wants to run but after like 2 secs it just crashes and an "gta-vc.exe has stopped working" error pops up.

What you think caused the crash
I don't know but I'm guessing this Steam version is messed up.. There's something wrong with the original steam launcher(gta-vc.exe) and it always gives me application load error 5:0000065434, i downloaded 1.0 crack and it works but for the singleplayer.

Are you using the Steam version?

Well nothing it downloads this crappy launcher all the time.. The only one that works is testapp.exe. Funny because its the other way around in gta 3.. So is this supposed to be like this or something else's wrong?

rename it to gta-vc.exe and try. If that doesn't work, rename it to testapp back :P

It says it's an unknown version and multiplayer requires 1.0 version

Actually now it shows the loading screen with the vc mp logo on it. And it creates a crash information file this time:

It fixed it, thanks. So you cant use mods here? Because I was just using this widescreen fix, without it game looks a bit bad and with it on the aim is off target

Well firstly, ASI mods are disabled so the intention is to prevent executable mods from loading. Secondly, VC:MP has to install its own Direct3D patches and hooks, so using a d3d8 mod is not the wisest idea anyway.

I have an ENB that compatible with VC:MP. I tried lots of ENB and only this one work correctly.
