Hi everyone, we are currently looking for people who are commited on being an active scripting helper for Extreme-Addicts Server. We will pay attention to well-known and trustworthy scripters around here and outside this forum. 

Basically, we want helpers to script upcoming updates, HTML/PHP knownledge for the web, maintain the server database (MySQL), and perform quick-action workarounds and bugfixes if there's any. EA scripts are written in Squirrel right now using SqMod server, so people familiar with it, heads up, you may have more chances to get accepted by development team.

We could definitely make use of an active beta testing team to better polish our releases though.

[4th season of EYE Tournament 2017!]

A new sequel of EYE Tournament, the most classic DMing event that any server has ever hosted, is now here. Extreme Addicts staff & owners introduce the 4th season of EYE Tournament 2017!

For those who are newcomers, as a tradition from EA server since the early times in VC:MP, we launch basic but adapted 1 v 1 duel format within the most known and deadly DMers in the community, in a square arena, organized by different stages and groups. Here there is a timeline from the very first champion to the actual:

• Fighters Registration:  You can find the requirements and fighters thread to be considered as participant, and here you can submit a brief application to join EYE 4. The initial draw will contain 32 players that we may increase or not depending on the event's success. Applicants who have been caught as suspect/hacking/related in previous events will be denied.

• Staff Applications:  You can submit a staff application here. EYE 4 staff members are composed of referees, admins, and head managers. Where applicants would be only accepted as referees or admin, depending on the event's needs.

• Rules:  General rules topic can be found here. This thread contains allowed weapons, allowed fighting styles, number of rounds and score criteria, fairplay and punishments items.

• The Prize:  The champion and 2nd finalist will be having a very important prize that won't yet reveal. We only ensure that you will enjoy the Prize not only in Extreme Addicts but also in other servers!

• Event Launching and Registration Deadline:  You can start applying today for both staff and fighters spot as the event is officially announced. Fighters will have a period of 7 days (a week) to apply since now. This doesn't mean that we can't make exceptions and replacements after that date.

Of course EYE IV is going to be hosted in Extreme-Addicts Server as previously, so we invite you to participate on this new season that we expect to be awesome and fun as usual! Please visit Extreme-Addicts forum for more elaborated information and details.

So basically a plain DM gamemode is equal to any other gamemode with unique features as nobody cares about scripts then, lol. You have your standards really messed up.

Nope. Your logic wrong as expected. People playing in servers mainly because their friends playing there. Most popular servers (LW, EC) have very basic DM. There is/was few servers with "unique features" with zero playercount, Doom's multimode for example. And yes. Empty servers is totally equal regardless their scripts.

You did it again vito! I'm laughing out loud as usual reading you, even though I was feeling nice without seeing you around. You are shitting over those owners who think beyond the cheaps DM servers to contribute something better, not good. Chinise/vientam servers with weird names holding +15 players and running broken or even no scripts, how do you explain that? The 'join-what-i-first-see-with-players' phenomenon, fact #1. Enough reason to prove your obsolete sentence as false. There was always a temporal fever for certain server to play on (in 0.3 megawar haitians vs cubans), you can deduct the current.

It is about quality staff members (see if one of your popular listed servers in particular meets this point), a catching gamemode, the gameplay in terms of rules, the little small details that makes the server unique and special, scripts quality, and the history/legacy. It is about all that but players. If no one cared about scripts then VC:MP would have died of boredoom years ego, or players would have been doomed to play plain spawn-kill-die-respawn servers. Therefore again, your standards fucked up as much unbiased you are in favor of EC; showing yourself embarrasing and stupid for example in this topic.

Empty servers is totally equal regardless their scripts. (Most of them is a copy of LW/EC gamemode btw)

However, I'd suggest you open the browser a bit more frequently than being an attention whore in every topic. More likely you will bump with material that ripped off or got "inspired of" (including the name -- XE European Server, Sky-City to secondary features), than original servers emulating their gamemodes (equal to no effort), fact #2.

How would you understand if you were not even here. But speaking is free and throwing shit is not even counting.

That non-sense hate though. Contributed the community since so long, growing veteran players, including retired players as well, something that this new-wave generation of players from last year or the other, will never understand.

Too many years kicking popularity in VC:MP. Simply was the main DM hub in 0.3 and the existance of another server doesn't rip it off. Legendary servers will remain legendary, and new school servers won't just reach that level ever.

This is something that calls my attention as well. How much difference has the SP and VC:MP radio (if there is any?).  Making them a bit more dynamic would be perfect

The main idea is theorically right. I belive there are more priorities in terms of hacks/mods apart from the 'greenless' modification to care about... Honestly making such implementations are not worth enough to stop players using this mod.

And to be frank, removing the palms and whatever other textures too, just to gain some more visibility is completely stupid and retarded. Runining the game enviroment is just a price that DMer apes are up to pay... Sure, let them enjoy an ugly Vice City

Out of curiosity, why do you ask for that? You don't need to touch those files except if you are trying to use them for your own...

Custom files are part of the server and their owners, besides that they are public, no one should rip them off without permission.
