Funvice was released in 07/24/2018 at version 0.1 BETA. The server has changed since then. It was firstly released as a Minigame and TDM server. The old script contained many bugs, so we had to script a new version, thats when we created FunVice Deathmatch version 0.1 in 2019. The server is a DM server and it also has an optional roleplay gamemode.

FunVice Version 0.5 release.

Team that worked in the making of this version:




Kelvin (+ vehicles in roleplay world)

Added new minigame Hide and Seek. (/joinhns)
Added new command /respawn so players can respawn without using /kill.
Added new command /nuke to buy and activate a nuke.
Added new command /roleplay to join the roleplay world.
Added new command /eventlevel to check if the player is a event staff member.

Added admin command /aspawn to force players to spawn.
Added Event Member team. Members of event staff are responsible to host events.
Added a command for owners to control staff action easier.

Added cooldown when using rocket to avoid certain glitches.
Fixed a bug that was with the /fix command.
Changed the account limit to 2 when joining from the same computer.

New Roleplay World (Beta Version)

- New random Death and Kill messages.
- 2 characters. Boy and Girl.
- Added new vehicles in this world.

Commands added so far (only for roleplay world):

- Added roadblock to create a road block.
- Added /me to roleplay with other players.
- Added /character to pick your character.
- Added /deathmatch to return to death match world.

Report any bug you find in the server. Also test /roleplay world and see if its anything wrong with it since it is in the beta version still.

FunVice Version 0.4 release

- Added /announce for every player to send a text announcement.
- Added new command /world to check player world.
- Added duel system. (/newduel, /duel)
- Added new command !cd to start a countdown.
- Added command category for minigame commands. (/minigamecmds)
- Added /disarm command
- Added the shooting competition commands (/joinrange, /leaverange)

- Added /setweather command for admins
- Added /warn to verbally warn a player. Will also add /permawarn in a future version
- Added /setskin command for admins

- Fixed some Vice City map bugs.
- Fixed the bug with vehicle system.
- Fixed showroom making the z a little higher

Shooting Competition:

Its a very simple minigame where you can compete with your friends or 3 other players in a shooting range where you have to shoot the target. Its still in beta since more can be added in this minigame in the future. Its fun and also makes sense since the server is DM and players can even practice their aim by shooting at the target.

- Fixed Unkown weapon message on mod weapons.
- Removed old modded weapons and added new one.

FunVice Version 0.2 release

Server is now officially opened in the version 0.2. Any script update will be released with versions like this one.

I would probably say check if the player is in a vehicle or not and if he isnt then he wont receive the money neither the car will explode.

Map is just one of the problems. Most of vice city multiplayer download links are down aswell. Again Vice City itself is a old game and most of the peoples already lost interest in it. Just enjoy any new update and have fun playing, dont worry about the players or trying to find a way to increase them because its not worth it.
The map can be changed to a custom one for sure but still there are world boundaries that wont allow you do much.

Updates wont change anything. It may be a good thing for you as a scripter to create new things for your server but it wont actually increase the players in vcmp. You should understand that the reason vcmp doesnt have player is because VICE CITY is not as popular anymore and the map of vice city looks so old and is so small you cant really do anything in it. The update will only make the existing players excited but it wont make any new player join.

Alot of players left vcmp aswell and now only noobs play. I had some friends that i used to enjoy the game long time ago. But now they all left and this is one of the reason why i dont enjoy playing vcmp as much now.

Athanatos is just giving his opinion and its true. Did any of you guys wonder why there are alot of peoples from pakistan playing vcmp and no americans? Cause the game is old and their pc only afforts this kind of game, in the americans case there are alot of multiplayer games they can play. Actually the only reason why i play this old game is because my pc cant affort a better one. The only smart thing in this whole topic is the stormeus answer. How are more peoples going to join in game if every link that exist in forums is broken. Matheus doing videos "How to play VCMP", well that wont work either cause all of his audience already plays the vcmp. Kids who get mad from this kind of posts dont have to answer because this is just my personal opinion

What about the chat bug? Game chat disappears or gives old messages after playing for a long time in server (1 hour or more).

I actually thought about going in forum cause i was only 5 days inactive in server but since my forum account was deleted i couldnt do shit about it, joined in game to speak about this problem and one of your staff just gave me a ironic laugh and didnt answer. I mean your staff clearly reseting peoples that has 5 - 10 days inctive with the motive of "reset evading" to benefit for their self.  I didnt have time to play more then 20 - 30 min in server does that mean i was evading reset? Anyway i just wanted to make clear of this issue in your server, cause this is not the right topic to discuss this problem.

Well shit, same thing happend to me after playing for almost 2 years my forum account got deleted by staff and also my in game account got reseted.

I dont think there is anything to do with the windows version. I remember that using the french language in vice city multiplayer , when you kill someone his head will not be cutted.

To me this looks more like a joke than a real system. Also there are some isues with this "Admin System".
1- What if another player win that amount of money in the server? Does that mean that he will have access to all admin commands?
2- What if the player that is admin earn more money? He needs to quit the game and rejoin to earn the same amount to be admin again?
However maybe someone can find this useful

You should make random pickups like guns ,armour, health and things like that at the end of every wave.
