Player immunity flag 64, designed to protect the player against headshots, does not work.


What you were doing when the bug happened
FindPlayer(0).Immunity = 64 -> fired an M4 at 0's head and he died to a headshot.

What do you think caused the bug
Improperly implemented flag. The other ones work fine.

Why can I not change game_sensitivity multiple times without restarting the game?

Do you not understand that by restricting changes to game_sensitivity you are only harming legal players?

Since I'm unable to change my sensitivity the way it was intended for 3+ years in VCMP 0.4 (by ways of commands made by the developers) I will resort to gray area methods such as third party programs to achieve this now such as tens of other players will, or have already done so by now.

So congratulations, you've achieved nothing with this except for practically fucking over newbies who have no clue how to circumvent this "solution" and legit players.

Such a function would be useful to see if a player is using a game-altering modification (such as greenless mod). Like in CS 1.6, where they forced your client to take screenshots, banned you for wallhacks and requested you to post those screenshots in an 'unban appeal'.

Is there any way to make them function like in single-player?

Say, a fence in single-player is destructible, but spawning it with CreateObject makes it indestructible. Is there a way to make it function like in singleplayer, except for using XML?

I'm trying to hide one of the original objects of the game in Starfish Island, more specifically; base of one of the houses. The object name is mansion3gardens, ID is 2384.

RawHideMapObject(2384, -6432, -3618, 91);

This is how the code should look. However after putting it in /exec nothing happens. I saw a thread by rww about one object in the military base being bugged, although I'm not sure if there is a workaround for this. Is there a workaround? Or maybe I messed something up?

can a laggy player go thru a large .dff/building that uses autocollision (as if collisions werent there)? does autocollision cause lag? is it in any way worse than .col files? (in terms of performance, not in terms of actual 'collision quality')

Say, I added back paintings into the Mansion using an XML but they don't appear when I'm inside the Mansion - they appear when I'm outside though. Any solution except for editing the Mansion object directly?

the last update we had was like in august and since then there has been no words from the developers and theres some nasty bugs in rel004 such as game crashing at /q, skin id 0 looking very weird, some objects acting as pickups etcetra

hotel near Malibu (the one where armor spawns in SP) is fucked up and has invisible walls (try landing on the hotel's roof)
printworks is also fucked up and has an invisible wall in the middle of it

I guess this is the right section. here we go!
I have come into possession of very interesting material recently.
Straight to the point - we all know the infamous ON clan - a part 'of the best team evarrrrr'; everyone surely has heard of people accusing them of cheating once in their 'VCMP career'.
This topic is going to show E V I D E N C E of the ON clan in fact being a bunch of cheaters.
Let's start: (this won't be long, but rather short and self-explanatory)

This is evidence of an ON member (won't disclose name this time) giving F1 to our contact (named later) and how to make it work in-game.

 Personal Message footage of KxZ. aka StrykerZ on the forum or VoyaFlex or gh0st or VeilSlide or c0mrade and testing of the wall-hack.

After gaining more trust in ON this is the message he receives from a member named ANONIMUL - a well known figure, second member of ON I guess (after Zeruel).
Alright, all of this might smell like a fake, but here's what is inside the package:
All of those probably function like a cheating program, inject into the game and edit a few memory addresses.
Wallhack is basically ghost city (not seeing any walls), FPS - able to use any FPS value you want, widescreen - self-explanatory.
Here is how these things work ingame: (except WS)
We all know about F1, however the rest of those things might come as a surprise to your average player.
All of those things posted above were used by ON, are still used by ON and would continue to be used by ON - they were probably also given to their 'trusted' allies like Brian and phenomz. (no confirmation), etcetra. -please keep in mind that the Russians never used those things and never will and I am pretty sure that they will denounce ON's actions.

This will be posted on multiple forums and it is up to your discretion as to what to do about them.

Ekhm. Everything worked until the latest 'small' update; I reinstalled VCMP, still didn't work. Next day (after a de facto restart) I could join a server named 'Indian City' and it didn't return this error however when trying to join LW it returned this error again. When entering this 'Indian City' server everyone gets a message which states their macid - mine appeared normally (don't suppose that's relevant).
I can't join a handful of other servers either.
I did not (or can't recall) do any changes to my system very recently. Using Win 7. Any help'd be appreciated!
Closed Bug Reports / Could not start process

Did a clean install of VC, VCMP, no mods, tried launching as admin, singleplayer works, new game works, it used to work before, removed everything from VC User Files, there is no code after 'process' (like Could not start process (191) - nothing like this)

It used to work before; I just recently exchanged my RAM but I don't see how could it be an issue, lol.

Support / VCMP crashes after loading screen

Everything was working fine, until an hour ago or so I tried to connect a second client into one server, which returned a BEX error.
I turned off the first client and tried joining the server again - after the loading screen, the game returned a BEX error yet again with the faulty module being vcmp-game.dll.
I tried turning off DEP using bcdedit.exe /set {current} nx AlwaysOff & bcdedit.exe /set nx AlwaysOff and rebooting, but this didn't help.
Later turned it on again with bcdedit.exe /set {current} nx OptIn, also rebooted - but still returns the same error.
Singleplayer launches just fine (main menu & new game).
I tried removing vcmp-game.dll from 04rel003_4 & 04rel003 and connecting again, but the error still persists.
Windows 7 64b

Any solutions? :<
